Resort Preparations Mille Lacs Lake

Spring is just around the corner here on Mille Lacs Lake and we are anxious to start on the resort spring preparations!

We have a few things on the list for updating this spring. We are planning on doing some remodeling on cabin 4. This will hopefully include a new deck in addition to Dean working his magic inside with the kitchen and bathroom mostly. The main agenda will be to obtain some more efficient space in the cozy cabin.

The mobile home (#9), will also be getting some work done inside. We will be adding pine on the walls and adding some new flooring. Just a few little things can make a big difference sometimes, so it should look rather nice when it is finished.

The harbor will be getting some dock work as soon as weather allows as well. Was mother nature fooling us? It looks as though as the ice may not come off as soon as we first thought. We have over 2 feet and it isn’t even thinking about melting yet, we have been adding ice most likely the last few weeks!

Another addition you will soon see on the website is our new rental boat. We did replace the lunker with a 2007 Lund. More details will be coming as we will be picking it up in a few days!

Regulations have not officially been announced for us yet, but it is known that walleye will be catch and release… We will post all regulations as they are presented including smallmouth bass, northern pike and musky.
